BUILDING WORK SILVERDALE
The building work and alterations have now been completed and we would like to thank all our patients for their cooperation and understanding whilst the work was carried out.
We have now have four additional consulting rooms, a suite for the health visitors, an improved reception and a lovely large bright waiting for our patients - We hope you like your new improved surgery.

F2 AND ST2 DOCTOR AND GP REGISTRAR
The Practice is an established teaching Practice and trains both undergraduate and post gradaduate doctors. We currently have a foundation level two doctor who is a junior doctor attached to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. www.northstaffsvts.com/ A new doctor under the F2 rotation scheme joins the practice every four months in this training post to complete their experience before embarking on a future career - Dr F Hakim is our current F2 doctor until August 2010. We have a GP Registrar based at The Practice, Dr V Welsh she will be with the practice until July 2010 . We also have an ST2 Dr Karczewski he will be with the practice until August 2010 On occasion you may be asked to participate in a video surgery which is used as an assessment tool.

We are pleased to tell you that two patient lines are now up and running at Ryecroft and Silverdale. This should make a significant difference to telephoning the surgery, especially at busy periods in the mornings. Please still try to ring for results in the afternoons.
CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU
There is a new service now availbale at Silverdale Surgery. It is possible to make an appointment with the Citizens Advice Bureau please ask at Reception for further details.
